Black Double stitched Horween Chromexcel watch strap

A black Chromexcel leather watch strap with Double line stitching all the way along the length of the strap. Its add strength to the strap but main reason is it looks pretty good. It has a very vintage aviator look to it I feel and it works well on big watches as well as the smaller ones (the Reverso as an example).

As with all my straps I personally make each strap to order to ensure that it is finished to the best standards. I use only traditional craft techniques and no machines in their creation. I also hand stitch every part. The edges are coloured, sealed with bees wax and burnished. Although all this is labor intensive the end result is worth all the effort when I have created something unique and beautiful that will be used.

Details:
The strap shown in the picture is 19mm at the lug tapered to 16mm at the buckle and is of the standard size 115mm/ 75mm.
I use Zermatt leather for the lining which is sweat resistant (great in summer) and hypoallergenic.
I hand stitch all of the strap using fil au chinois waxed linen thread and its lined with Tochigi calf.

Straps will be tapered as standard to fit these buckle sizes: *can be custom tapered on request.
